AFTER ALL BLUE IS JUST A COLOR
Short Stories Book Design
This book took us on a nostalgic, psychological, and emotional trip. I was swept up in memories of
heartbreak and healing, all while experiencing depression as a result of the immigration process and
adjusting to a new life.
This project includes hardcover design and 60 pages story and drawings that all written by me and drawn by hand.
I infused my designs with a heartfelt touch by employing fresh, hand-drawn sketches created with the vivid strokes of oil markers. These tangible elements were later translated into a digital format, yet the essence of using pen and paper remains paramount to me. Through the intimate connection established with the physical act of drawing, I believe that a profound wellspring of emotions flows onto the paper. This profound union of hand and artistic tool enables me to imbue my drawings with an authentic portrayal of feelings, conveying a raw and genuine expression that resonates with viewers on a deeper level.
