LA VIE EST BELLE
Packaging Design
La vie Est belle, meaning "life is beautiful" in French, is a luxury line of food products with packaging inspired by the Impressionist artist Claude Monet. This brand evokes the famous rose gardens in Paris, bringing the customer to a café table in the park, enjoying macaroons and rose white chocolate, cold rosewater cocktails, herbal rose tea, and a little rose perfume gift.
Impressionism developed in France in the nineteenth century and is based on the practice of
painting out of doors and spontaneously 'on the spot rather than in a studio from sketches.
The main impressionist subjects were landscapes and scenes of everyday life. Original painted illustrations decorate the bottles and the packaging.
